Evan Chong is the PYP Technology Integrator at the Tashkent International School.  His main responsibility at TIS is working with teachers to integrate technology to the existing PYP curriculum.  This year’s focus has been on digital citizenship and moving away from technology as a single subject.  In addition, Evan is working to introduce computational digital and analog devices in conjunction with building out a makers program.  Coding is limited in the classroom, but has gotten more attention as an after school activity thus far.  There students use a variety of applications including Scratch, Scratch Jr. and Hopscotch to build their coding skills.
